Templeton Rye was born in the 20’s, during Prohibitionism, when in the small American town of Templeton (IOWA) some local farmers and businesspeople began producing a carefully crafted bootleg rye whiskey, which became known as “The Good Stuff”.
This American legend opens today his doors to the world thanks to recent important investment in a new distillery in Templeton, where Forsyths copper pot stills and colums stills distill a great Straight Rye Whiskey using 95% of Rye, destined to age in 50.000 barrels on site.
